ST.Kagwa Bushenyi High school was started in 1968 by Mbarara Diocese and granted aided by government in 1976. under the headship of Rev. Fr. Bruno Loiselle (RIP) from Canada. It has developed over the years with the support of the parents and Uganda government. Government of Uganda has been paying salaries for some staff, appointing boards to manage the school, initiating policies etc. The parents have been paying school fees for the recurrent expenditure, capital development projects and assisting the administration through parents Teachers Association to plan, maintain high academic standards and discipline.
St.Kagwa Bushenyi High school is a residential and prominent all-boy’s secondary school with both O and A level, located in Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality, Bushenyi district, South western Uganda. The school has well trained teaching and non teaching staff that supports the development of the school. The leadership of this great institution hails from the board of governors and the headteacher (Currently Mr. Kamugisha Possy Kananga)
